Millions of people still live without access to safe drinking water, forcing women and children to walk miles every single day. SHUDDHI implements highly effective water conservation and sanitation projects in drought-prone areas.

We install large-scale rainwater harvesting systems, desilt traditional community ponds, and build groundwater recharge setups. Your contribution brings immediate water security to villages, fundamentally transforming their health and daily lives.

Questions people ask

Will I get an 80G tax receipt?
Yes. Donations to SHUDDHI's own causes are eligible under Section 80G. Your receipt is emailed right after payment. Please enter your PAN so you can claim the deduction.
Can I pay by UPI QR or bank transfer?
Yes. Open the UPI / Bank tab in the donate box, scan the QR or use our bank details, then send us the reference number to get your 80G receipt.
Is my payment safe?
Yes. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS certified gateway. SHUDDHI never sees your card or bank password.
Can I hide my name from the supporters list?
Yes. Tick "Hide my name" before paying. Your receipt will still have your name for tax purposes.
How will my money be used?
It goes to the cause on this page. Our accounts are audited every year; see our transparency page for registrations and reports.
Can I get a refund?
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or donated the wrong amount by mistake, write to info@shuddhi.org or call +91-9654815105 within 7 days with your payment ID. Approved refunds go back to the same card/UPI in 5–10 working days. Read the refund policy.
