Rebuilding Lives Post-Disasters
When catastrophic events strike, entire communities lose their homes and livelihoods overnight. Within 48 hours, SHUDDHI's task force establishes base camps on ground zero.
Thanks to our incredible donors, we successfully deliver emergency WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) kits preventing disease outbreaks, alongside dry rations that sustain families for weeks while temporary shelters are erected.
Bringing Water Back to Villages
In drought-stricken regions, women were walking up to 6 kilometers daily just to fetch drinking water. Through our CSR partnerships, we initiated a massive groundwater recharge project.
We installed large-scale rainwater harvesting systems and desilted traditional ponds. Today, local water tables have risen significantly, ensuring year-round water security and allowing children to return to school instead of fetching water.
Bridging the Education Gap
Children in urban slums often drop out of school to support their families. SHUDDHI launched localized learning centers to provide free after-school tuitions and nutritional meals.
By providing free stationary, smart tablets, and daily meals, we brought drop-out rates down by 85% in our target demographics. Hundreds of these students have now successfully cleared their board examinations.
